Completed Steps

After three terms and fifteen years of faithfully serving as President of the Foursquare Gospel Church of Canada, Steve Falkiner will be officially retiring on June 30, 2027. As a national family we are deeply grateful for Steve's leadership, his integrity, and the countless decisions he has made that have helped shape and strengthen our denomination. His contribution has been significant and we honour him for it.

With Steve's upcoming retirement, the FGCC National Board has begun the important work of discerning who will serve as our next president

in 2025 the National Board appointed a diverse team of men and women from across Canada to prayerfully and thoughtfully lead this discovery process.

The committee has already begun meeting and is working toward a clear, Spirit-led plan for the months ahead. A timeline has been created and will be made available shortly. Like any good road map, it provides direction while allowing room for the Holy Spirit's guidance along the way.
